Server-mediated AI

All AI calls route through the Z11Labs backend. Provider credentials — OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq — are never present in the desktop client.

Firebase identity

Every API request carries a valid Firebase identity token. Requests without a verified identity are rejected before reaching any AI service.

Ed25519 device trust

Each device signs its requests with a bound Ed25519 keypair. Unregistered devices are rejected server-side before any data is returned.

Server-authoritative trial

Trial limits and subscription state are enforced on the backend clock. Reinstalling the desktop app does not reset usage.

HTTPS end-to-end

All traffic between the desktop client and backend travels over HTTPS. No plaintext credential or session data is transmitted.

Transparent billing

Checkout is handled by PayU. Subscription state is server-controlled. No surprise charges. Cancel anytime from within the app.

No. Most of the value comes before the live interview. Use Z11Labs to build context, run mock sessions, and practice the specific role. Live assistance is one part of a larger preparation workflow.
This depends on the rules set by the employer, recruiter, or assessment platform. Some explicitly allow it. Others do not. You are responsible for understanding and following the rules of your specific interview situation. Z11Labs does not make claims about what any particular interview permits.
The trial gives 15 minutes (900 seconds) of active AI usage. Usage is counted from your first AI interaction on the server, not from installation. Reinstalling the app does not reset the trial.
Z11Labs routes through OpenAI, Anthropic, and Groq via a backend proxy. Your device never communicates directly with any provider API. No provider credentials are embedded in the desktop application.
Context documents are stored in the local application data folder on your device. They are included in AI requests only when you have an active session — they are not uploaded persistently to our infrastructure.
